A wealthy lawmaker is offering incentives to residents of Las Piñas in an effort to encourage people to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.
Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar has announced a raffle promo to hand out a house and lot, two motorcycles and 20 livelihood gift packages for lucky residents in the city.
The incentive program is dubbed “May Bahay Sa Bakuna” raffle. The raffle period will be from June 4 to December 15, 2021.
“Magandang balita mga Las Piñeros! Upang mahikayat tayo na maging protektado laban sa COVID-19, inihahandog ang ‘May Bahay Sa Bakuna’ Raffle Promo! Bukas ang raffle sa lahat ng taga Las Pinas edad 18 years old pataas, na nakatanggap na ng 1st Dose O 2nd Dose ng COVID-19 Vaccine,” she wrote on Twitter.
“Layunin ng programang ito ay maisulong na ang pagpapabakuna ay hindi lang para sa sarili—ito ay para din sa inyong pamilya,” she said.
The Las Piñas solon is the daughter of real estate bilyonaryo and former Senator Manny Villar and incumbent Senator Cynthia Villar. The family owns Vista Land and its subsidiaries such as Camella Homes, Communities Philippines, Crown Asia, Vista Residences, Brittany, and Starmalls, Inc.
