OVER 700 local and foreign delegates were expected to attend the first Asia-Pacific Family Peace Leadership Conference at the Manila Hotel from July 19 to 21.
Former senator and boxing icon Manny Pacquiao and Las Piñas City Rep. Camille Villar will receive the Golden Leaf award during the event.
“The Philippines is privileged to host the first Asia-Pacific Family Peace Leadership Conference, as this is a testament of the trust that the Family Peace International placed upon the Filipino Peace Association,” the conference’s chairman Samuel Salvador said in a media conference on Thursday.
The event’s keynote speaker will be Shinha Moon, international vice president of Family Development, Family Peace Association.
The Global Peace Foundation was founded in 2017 by Moon’s father, Dr. Hyun Jin Moon. His father, Sun Myung Moon, was the founder of the Unification Church.
